Elizabeth Salin, MFT is a Marriage Family Therapist has witnessed adults, children and families successfully meet challenges in their lives - ones they were not sure they could navigate alone. Liz offers her knowledge of importance of attachment relationships, child development and research on resilience of people in distress. Supporting and repairing connections between loved ones and within oneself is the heart of going forward into the future. In work with families Liz helps parents focus on their strengths and hopes to create the best outcomes for families. She has had the privilege of seeing individuals and families change in ways that support everyone.


Licensed in 1976, Liz has over 40 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy to adults, play therapy to children, and parent/co-parent counseling. She taught Human Development to graduate students and teachers at Dominican University, was a senior clinical staff member at the Center for Families in Transition, and created and taught the pre-mediation orientation for parents in the Sonoma County Courts.
